You will serve as a PERSONNEL SUPPORT SPECIALIST in the Administrative Zone Office, Code 900A of PSNS and IMF.
Duties
You will provide advice, assistance and recommendations on a wide range of procedural issues that affect assigned administrative zone.
You will perform a variety of administrative duties that involve the day-to-day oversight and implementation of personnel related program functions and require extensive coordination between management and servicing civilian personnel specialists.
You will research, analyze and provide advice to supervisors and managers regarding administrative policies, regulations, and program requirements.
You will prepare all necessary paperwork for processing of personnel actions.
You will review personnel action documents for accuracy prior to submission through automated systems.
You will analyze and interpret personnel management reports utilizing various databases.

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate 3 years of general experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least GS-04 grade level or pay band, in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector assisting with administrative support, services and guidance in support of servicing personnel offices.

Education
In lieu of experience, you may qualify with the following education:
- 4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
