About the Position: This position is in the Naval Hospital Twentynine Palms Dir. of Resource Mgmt. The City of Twentynine Palms is the home of Joshua Tree National Park Headquarters and Main Park Entrance and proud host of the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, the world's largest Marine Corps training base. Duties
Responsible for overseeing the integration of workforce requirements and policies.
Serve as action officer for staffing program.
Maintain constant liaison with counterparts at higher levels on policy and supplemental data as
required.
Instruct and trains staff.
Collaborate on personnel issues/actions.
Serve as the Telework Program Manager.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG).
- Employees assigned to a medical treatment facility are required to be screened for applicable immunizations or pre-existing immunity based on occupational risk.
- This position has a mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirement and is subject to annual vaccination.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes includes assist with the planning and evaluating with the workforce programs such as staffing recruitment, manpower assessments, position management.Support with the training and instruction of staff members on various personnel assignments.Provide briefings, data analyses and recommendations on a variety of personnel action issues or complications that affect the activity.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
