You will serve as an Information Technology Specialist (INFOSEC&PLCYPLN) in the Digitial Networks and Applications Department, Engineering Solutions Division, Solutions Management Branch of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV.
Duties
You will assist customers in responding to any inquiries received from higher review authorities regarding cyber security related elements of submitted documentation.
You will provide technical leadership to integrated team members in support of agency mission and project/program goals.
You will establish and maintain relationships with program stakeholders to promote cross talk and technology transfer between various groups.

- This position is designated as a Cyber IT/Cybersecurity Workforce position. You must obtain and maintain the credentials as described in SECNAV M-5239.2 for specialty area 802 IT Project Manager level Intermediate within 12 months of appointment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. 2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. 3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. 4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
2. In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, your resume must also demonstrate at least one-year specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay band (DS-04) or grade level (GS-11-12) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience include the following: 1) Demonstrating working knowledge of current acquisition laws, regulations, and practices sufficient to take procurement action analyses within the acquisition streamlining guidelines; 2) Applying project management processes and procedures, including project planning, cost estimation and analysis, budgeting, scheduling, contract administration, and system acquisition; 3) Developing and coordinating information system testing strategies and information assurance requirements and processes; and Developing and implementing information systems security plans and procedures.
