You will serve as a DIRECTOR FOR TRAINING, READINESS & EXERCISES COMMANDER, SPECIAL OPERATIONS COMMAND.
Duties
You will develop all joint Special Operations Forces (SOF) operational concepts, plans and mission requirements in support of Commander USINDOPACOM-directed Joint Chief of Staff (JCS) exercises.
You will be responsible for the oversight, coordination and submission of Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS) reports and After-Action Reports (AAR).
You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and conducting all individual and collective training which will professionalize the force and grow the future generation of SOF leaders.
You will be responsible for monitoring, documenting, and reporting individual and unit readiness and ensuring that the command is prepared to conduct USINDOPACOM directed missions.
You will determine resource needs, allocate resources and account for the effective use of these resources in employing SOF to effectively support JCS exercises, and other operations, actions and investments.
Requirements

Qualifications
GS-15 Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Determining program goals, develop plans and directs joint and combined special operations to accomplish peacetime and wartime objectives; 2) Developing all joint Special Operations Forces (SOF) operational concepts, plans and mission requirements in support of exercises; 3) Developing command directed, joint, combined, and unilateral special operations training activities; 4) Monitoring, documenting, and reporting individual and unit readiness; 5) Determining resource needs, allocating resources and accounts for the effective use of these resources in employing SOF, and approving expenditures of funds to meet operational requirements; and 6) Directing the development of training programs, operations exercises, and evaluations of theater capabilities with regards to counterterrorism doctrine, organization, and missions.
GS-14 Level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Assisting in determining program goals, develop plans and directs joint and combined special operations to accomplish peacetime and wartime objectives; 2) Assisting in developing all joint Special Operations Forces (SOF) operational concepts, plans and mission requirements in support of exercises; 3) Participating in the development of command directed, joint, combined, and unilateral special operations training activities; 4) Monitoring, documenting, and reporting individual and unit readiness; 5) Contributing towards determining resource needs, allocating resources and accounts for the effective use of these resources in employing SOF and approving expenditures of funds to meet operational requirements; and 6) Developing training programs, operations exercises, and evaluations of theater capabilities with regards to counterterrorism doctrine, organization, and missions.
