You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the General Equipment Branch; Property Management Division, Corporate Operations Department of NAVSURFWARCENDLD. You will serve as entry level Organizational Property Administrator (OPA) supporting financial and audit functions within the General Equipment (GE) Branch.
This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. NT-02 is equivalent to GS-05/08.
Duties
You will become familiar with the general equipment life-cycle management process to include tracking, maintaining records, acquiring, financial accounting, physical accountability, and disposition of GE.
You will complete all necessary Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and applicable system transactions.
You will learn and serve as the Navy ERP (N-ERP) Secondary Level Reviewer for all acquisition and disposition ERP updates.
You will learn and assist with property reconciliations for General Equipment added and removed from N-ERP.
You will learn and assist with the Financial Improvement and Audit Readiness (FIAR) audits for the General Equipment Branch.
You will learn and perform Inventory Specialist duties when needed to include counting, tagging, and performing system transactions.
You will learn and assist with Government Furnished Property (GFP) and General Equipment On-Loan inventory requirements.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience, one year of which was equivalent to GS-04 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector, that demonstrates the ability to: analyze problems to identify significant factors, gather pertinent data, and recognize solutions; plan and organize work; and communicate effectively orally and in writing.
