About the Position: This position is a DOD Cyber Excepted Service (CES) personnel system position in the Excepted Service under 10 USC 1599f. Employees occupying CES positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the Cyber Center of Excellence, Fort Eisenhower, GA.
Duties
Creates personnel files using current ARPRINT, TRAP, and historical information from the ATRRS and the Academic Records Student Data Sheets (FG 6690-R-Es) for resident and staff and faculty students.
Researches and resolves any discrepancies between FG 6690-R-Es and current class using Training System for possible early arrival or no-show for previous class.
Establishes a suspense class work folder and an action checklist for each class reporting.
Provides general clerical and administrative office support duties to ensure efficient office correspondence and operations.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Three year trial/probationary period may be required.
- A qualified typist is required.
- Must be able to obtain and retain a Secret security clearance.
- May be required to work overtime.
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) may be required up to 5% of the time.

This position is in the Technician/Administrative Support Work Category at the Entry Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure.

To qualify based on your experience, your resume must describe one year of specialized experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Specialized experience would be demonstrated by managing personnel records based on training and academic records for all employees, students and soldiers; managing training roster for inbound and current employees, students and soldiers; initiates, collects, and compiles information, checks administrative correctness, secures signatures, final preparation, and distribution of Academic Evaluation Report (AER) within designated scope of responsibility; provides general clerical and administrative office support duties to ensure efficient office correspondence and operations including performing statistical tasks, research and verify information, and preparing correspondence.

Education: Four years of education above the high school level obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide your semester hours of education beyond two years (total semester hours minus 60) by 60. Add the two percentages.
