Duties
As a Strategic Workforce Planning Analyst you will:
Analyze policies from higher authority and determines the impact on the program.
Advance program objectives through application of sound planning and evaluation concepts and practices and recommend meaningful changes in planning.
Conduct complex, crosscutting workforce data analysis and demographic studies using advanced analytical techniques to project personnel requirements and evaluate workforce sustainment and associated costs through time which allows the analyst to evaluate multiple resource strategies, present and future, maintaining hiring/attrition policies to support the workforce.
Provide technical advice and coordination for data requests and/or compliance reporting requirements.
Serve as a consultant in the implementation and monitoring of complex, multifunctional, multi-layered, strategic workforce planning goals, objectives, issues, processes, and procedures that will further programs and achieve overall governmental initiatives to include succession planning, targeted recruitment, training programs, restructuring, retention strategies, etc.
Provide expert ongoing evaluation of workforce planning goals and objectives.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify at the GS-13 grade level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, which must include the following experience: extracting and analyzing information such as organization's mission, strategic plan, budgetary resources, and desired workforce competencies pertaining to the workforce planning needs of an organization and presenting workforce data to a variety of audiences or shareholders.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Copy of your transcripts or equivalent documentation is required for positions with an education requirement, or if you are qualifying based on education or a combination of education and experience. An official transcript will be required if you are selected.
College or university degree generally must be from an accredited (or pre-accredited) college or university recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. For a list of schools which meet these criteria, please refer to
