This position is located in the Department of Health & Human Services (HHS), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), Center for Program Integrity (CPI), Division of Stakeholder Engagement & Outreach (FCLLE).
As a Lead Health Insurance Specialist, GS-0107-14, you will ensure the work assignments of others are carried out by assisting with the coordination of functions related to the development, execution, and assessment of multi-pronged stakeholder engagement and outreach campaigns.
Duties
Located in the Provider Compliance Group (PCG), this position works concurrently on interrelated priorities, maintaining focus and attention to the Division's and the program's goals.
Develops and produces external reports and communication efforts, including reports and public documents and presentations, to educate stakeholders, increase compliance, and bolster Center-wide participation.
Serves as a Team Lead in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Center’s program integrity (PI) stakeholder engagement and outreach initiatives.
Provides expertise and technical guidance for analyses and outreach to internal or external stakeholders.
Supports team building skills such as group facilitation, consensus building, coordination, coaching, problem solving, interpersonal communication, integration of work processes and products, obtaining resources and liaison with the manager.

In order to qualify for the GS-14, you must meet the following: You must demonstrate in your resume at least one year (52 weeks) of qualifying specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal government, obtained in either the private or public sector, to include:
Oversee the planning, implementing, and supporting of outreach and stakeholder engagement initiatives that aim to increase transparency about CMS program integrity issues across multi-faceted work streams.
Serves as technical expert and advisor to leadership on the oversight associated with the stakeholder engagement and outreach activities across multi-faceted workstreams to ensure program compliance.
Lead a team on developing compliance policies, procedures, and critical issues which have a major impact on the Center's stakeholder engagement and outreach programs.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Time-in-Grade: To be eligible, current Federal employees must have served at least 52 weeks (one year) at the next lower grade level from the position/grade level(s) to which they are applying.
