Duties
As a Management and Program Analyst with DEVCOM you will perform a wide variety of duties to include but not limited to the following:
Serves as staff adviser and technical expert to the Director of Human Resources on matters relating to workforce management and talent management systems at DEVCOM.
Assesses program progress, analyzes results and initiates corrective action, as required, based on findings.
Generate reports to identify progress and evaluate performance of workforce management and talent management systems. Work with SMEs and stakeholders to improve performance and enhance personnel operations
Establishes program goals, develops system requirements, assess solutions, collects feedback from customers monitors and reports program accomplishments in accordance with higher headquarters regulations.
Requirements
- Secret, non-critical sensitive security clearance required.
- Temporary duty travel (TDY) up to 25% of the time.
- Two year probationary period may be required if not already completed in accordance with the 5 CFR.

Specialized Experience: one year of specialized experience which includes: 1) Lead programs and/or projects relating to development of personnel management and development systems/tools AND 2) Conducting studies, to include collecting feedback from customers, to review performance of systems and provide recommendations utilizing data analytics AND 3) Serving as a staff advisor and technical expert on personnel management and development systems/tools.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower level/grade position in the Federal service GS-12.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
Demo Transition Statement:
This position covered by this vacancy announcement will/may be transitioning to AFC STRL Demo Pay band DE-III, Category 2. Pay range includes $99,200 - $181,216. The selectee will be notified when the position is transitioned into AFC STRL Demo Pay band.
