The primary purpose of the position is to coordinate the day to day operations and administration of the Lodgetel Program. The position located in Social Work Service, Bay Pines Veterans Affairs Health Care System (BPVAHCS).
Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
Implements Lodging procedures, check-in procedures, consult management, and overall hotel procedures for hotel(s) participating in the Lodgetel Program.
In absence of the Fisher House Manager, incumbent assists with reservations, check-ins and checkouts, and orients guests upon arrival to Fisher House.
Incumbent serves as the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) for any and all Lodgetel Contracts, serves as back up for Fisher House Contracts and will be COR certified, processes all 1358/2237 requests and other contract-related items.
Incumbent manages and oversees the development, execution, review and analysis of the Lodgetel Budget, ensures funding for equipment and property are accounted for, manages and reconciles several Fund Control Points (FCP).
Establishes and maintains various automated databases for program operations.
Manages Lodgetel Administrative consults to include responding, coordinating care and administratively closing out all consults in CPRS.
Implement and carry out funding procedures for all FCP related to Lodgetel program, submit appropriate 2237/1358 requests in VistA, reconciles all FCP actions in time.
Manages multiple government purchase cards related to multiple Fund Control Points (FCP), reconciles all monthly as required.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm

Qualifications
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement, 05/17/2024.
Time-In-Grade Requirement: Applicants who are current Federal employees and have held a GS grade any time in the past 52 weeks must also meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement.
For a GS-09 position you must have served 52 weeks at the GS-07.
The grade may have been in any occupation, but must have been held in the Federal service. An SF-50 that shows your time-in-grade eligibility must be submitted with your application materials. If the most recent SF-50 has an effective date within the past year, it may not clearly demonstrate you possess one-year time-in-grade, as required by the announcement. In this instance, you must provide an additional SF-50 that clearly demonstrates one-year time-in-grade.

You may qualify based on your experience and/or education as described below:
Specialized Experience: You must have one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade GS-07 in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. Examples of specialized experience would typically include, but are not limited to: Experience with automated database management systems; providing administrative consults to varying stakeholders; implementing and executing funding procedures; submitting requests and Purchase Orders; and managing a Government Purchase card.

Education: Applicants may substitute education for the required experience. To qualify based on education for this grade level you must have a master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related. (TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED).

Combination: Applicants may also combine education and experience to qualify at this level. You must have an combination of specialized experience and education (beyond 18 semester hours). (TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED)

Physical Requirements: The work is principally sedentary. Some walking, standing, carrying books or files, or driving an automobile to and from project sites may be required. However, no special physical demands are involved.
