About the Position: Serves as the Victory Corps (V Corps) Ready and Resilient (R2) Program Analyst. Responsible for integrating a holistic ready resilient program design, implementation and administration of physical and non-physical performance training. This is a Term NTE 30 September 2026 position.

Duties

Advise management about necessary command-specific and program-wide updates or improvements to ensure best quality and effectiveness of service. Design strategies that create efficiencies within the organization in order to focus on customer service, plans, and programs along with the expenditure of funds in support of all programs and services (such as Holistic Health and Fitness Programs). Maintain relationships with key leaders working the field of social and behavioral sciences and associated programs incorporated under the Holistic Health and Fitness program and services. Facilitate the implementation of training, budgeting, and program assessment across the Senior Responsible Officer (SRO) Area of Responsibility. Analyze the interrelated issues of programs and Army well-being to include health and fitness, quality of life, Family services, suicide prevention, at-risks mitigation strategy development and implementation, and other well-being functions.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Must be able to work extended and/or other than normal duty hours, including evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime to the extent determined by the supervisor.
  • Must be able to work under austere living conditions, as well as share accommodation under field conditions (containers, tents and/or barracks).
  • Must be able to perform business related travel up to 50% of the time.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid state-issued driver’s license.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Forces Certificate of License.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a government driver’s license to operate non-tactical vehicle/transportation motor pool (NTV/TMP) vehicles such as a sedan or small passenger van.
  • Must be able to travel using military transportation or non-commercial means of travel.
  • IAW DoD Policy, must be able to obtain and maintain a no-fee Special Issuance Passport (SIP) and associated visa while assigned to a Federal civilian position in an area requiring a passport and associated visa.

Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) Performing review and analysis of current and projected programs to evaluate the actual or potential effectiveness of Ready and Resilient Programs (such as Holistic Health and Fitness Programs); 2) Conducting and participating in Ready and Resilient technical studies for the purpose of improving standards and procedures and resource utilization; and 3) Preparing concept papers, fact sheets, briefings, slide shows, information papers to provide information for a Ready and Resilient Program. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
