About the Position: This position is with the United States Army Reserve Command, G-3/5/7, Tactical Pursuit and Containment Division, Training Support Systems & Planning Branch located at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
Duties
Manage Army Reserve training policies and strategies consistent with Commander's Intent and IAW AR 350-1 and the Army Force Generation process to support United State Army Reserve Command (USARC) mission.
Analyze Department of Defense and Department of Army policies to determine the impact on USAR training programs.
Conduct staff analysis for USAR implementation and execution of training policies and specific training support requirements for USAR units.
Create training statistics and analysis in support of Force Status Briefs, Battle Focused Readiness Reviews, and/or other Command Group or G-37 information requirements.
Develop resource estimates to execute training programs

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes applying the integration of training automation systems involving the development of new methods, approaches, or procedures; preparing and presenting reports, briefings, information papers, executive summaries, coordination of staff actions and recommendations; gathering training information to identify and analyze training issues; and/or developing recommendations to resolve substantive problems in training automation integration. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
