About the Position: Serves as a member of the Army Community Service (ACS) Certification Team, within the Headquarters, Installation Management Command (IMCOM), G-9, Army Community Service (ACS) Division.

Duties

Ability to analyze, interpret, and apply complex legislative, and regulatory decisions in the evaluation and assessment of DoD/Army certification standards. Independently plan and organize work products, effectively negotiate/recommend to management actions involving multiple agencies and complex programs. Responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting the project or study, coordinating recommendations or results, and preparing decision documentation. Establishes methods to modify, adapt, and/or refine broader guidelines to resolve specific complex and/or intricate issues and problems, or develop policies and guidance to treat specific issues or program areas.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 30% of the time.

Specialized Experience: I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes conducting studies, analyzing data trends and develops projections of program requirements. Experience with preparation of Information Papers, Decision Briefings, and presents high-level Informational Briefings. Evaluates policies and practices, reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating numerous facets of organizational, functional, and operational requirements. Experience in technical aspects of the Army Community Service (ACS) programs, resolving critical problems, developing new concepts and practices. Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-???????12).
