Duties
You will be managing the daybook and calendars and provide information for all meetings.
You will receive and screen all incoming calls.
You Will submit travel authorizations and travel vouchers through Defense Travel Systems (DTS).
You will develop itineraries, instructions, guides, supplementary material and pertinent correspondence.
You will analyze information, incoming and outgoing correspondence and take corrective action to ensure the office functions efficiently and effectively.
Requirements

- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.

- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
- This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least three years of general experience one of which was equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or NO-01 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Administrative tasks for an organization including preparing agendas or correspondence, making arrangements for meetings or travel, compiling data and reports for executives and managing and maintaining executives' schedules or calendars.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience listed in the Qualifications section, applicants may qualify based on equivalent combination of education and experience, as follows:
4-year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree
OR
A combination of experience and graduate education as described above that equates to one year of experience. The percentage of the required education plus the percentage of the required experience equal one hundred percent.
