About the Position: Serves as an Engineering Technician that participates as a project delivery team (PDT) member, coordinates the District use of design software and programs and performs as a Project Wise (PW) and Projnet Administrator for the District. Utilizes practical knowledge of Architectural, Engineering and Construction (AEC) theories, principles, and practices to support the production and delivery of design products and services.
Duties
Create design layouts and project drawings ensuring compatibility of drawings and design software between designer and surveyor.
Provide Software Coordination and CAD Standard Oversight Reviews for internal and external contracted work.
System Administrator for Projectwise and Projnet, responsible for setting up, opening and closing internal and external user accounts.
Provide training to in-house Engineers, Architects, Scientists, and Technicians on C3D systems and operation.
Provide formal feedback to leadership on Computer Aided Design and Drafting (CADD) related activities and training.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 grade level orabove in the Federal Service which includes the development and preparation of complete engineering design documents and packaging of all contract documents for new construction and maintenance work.
Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-09).
