About the Position: This position is located in the Facility Management Division, at Womack Army Medical Center, office setting, 8 hr day/ 40 hr per week; work is normally performed in a well-lighted, heated and ventilated space, and often requires incumbent to visit construction sites.
Duties
Responsible for facility planning to include the development, maintenance, interpreting, modifying and adapting standards guides.
Develop scopes of work and specifications for projects.
Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, electrical and mechanical materials/installation for large and small contracts.
Serve as a Contractor Officer Representative for assigned projects.

- Position requires the incumbent to wear protective gear such as steel toed shoes, and anti-slip shoes.
- Position requires the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: assisting with engineering design preparation; determining cost estimates for engineering projects; utilizing fire and life safety codes for facility compliance; and preparing utility system documentation for The Joint Commission compliance.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-10).
