You will serve as a Purchase Card Coordinator of NAVSUP FLT LOGISTICS CNTR PUGET SOUND.
Duties
You will establish delivery priority, determine most appropriate method of procurement and confirm completion of delivery
You will conduct investigations, research, and determine causes of discrepancies
You will maintain purchase and procurement files and purchase logs per operating procedure
You will ensure that payment packages are prepared per the type commander reimbursable credit card procedure to maximize Citibank rebates and minimize delinquent payments
Requirements

- This is a bargaining unit position.
- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal
- This position is considered Key/Non-Combat Essential. You will be required to provide immediate and continuing support of the expeditionary requirements in other than combat or combat support situations.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing technical purchasing methods and procedures to perform Purchasing work that demonstrates an applied knowledge of purchasing and procurement regulations, policies, and procedures making purchases using the Government Purchase Card to procure supplies, services and equipment. You have experience contacting, coordinating and selecting vendors directly to purchase materials and resolve discrepancies and problems that arise with purchases. You perform post award work including resolving delivery, price/quantity differences and reconciliation of Purchase Card invoices. Examples of specialized example may include some of the following; 1) Purchase items orally, over the counter, by telephone, or research mandatory sources, existing catalogs to determine the best procurement method for commercial items; 2) Maintain purchase and procurement files and evaluate the operating procedures in order to make recommendations for improvement in the process and procedure; 3) Obtain electronic or signed proof of receipt for supplies and services that have been received and request proof of shipment for items invoiced but not yet received; and 4) Reconcile monthly purchase card statements, certifying receipts for payment for materials and services;
