Serves as a Program Manager for airport development projects for the Office of Airports (ARP), assigned Airports District Office (ADO) or a Region in support of ARP financial programs.
Duties
FV-H Duties: Incumbent performs similar duties as the FV-I, but with more frequent supervision.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Successful completion of a security investigation will be required.
Qualifications
To qualify for this position at the FV-H level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-G, FG/GS-10/11. Candidates must have one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to working at an airports, state, federal, or aviation consultant that is typically in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled and which has equipped the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform in this position. To be creditable, specialized experience includes:- Experience interpreting and applying knowledge of federal regulations and airport safety design standards related to the airport operating environment, including the Airport Capital Improvement Program; Sponsor Compliance Obligations; Airport Master Records; Airport Layout Plans; Land Use Plans, and/or Airport Master Plans. (i.e., FAA order 74002, FAA Order 8260, FAA Advisory Circular 1505300-13 Airport Design, 14 CFR Part 77, 14 CFR Part 157 and FAA form 5010).-Knowledge of airport operations to include the understanding and the functions of an air traffic control tower (ATCT), navigational aids (NAVAIDS), movement vs non-movement areas, the aircraft operational area, imaginary airspace surfaces, airfield markings and ATCT line-of-sight (LOS).To qualify for this position at the FV-I level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to FV-H, FG/GS-12.
