You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the INSERVICE SUBMARINES (PMS392) of PEO SSN.

Duties

You will serve to support coordination of internal and external stakeholders to address inquiries regarding submarine sustainment, maintenance, and modernization, that potentially require multiple sources of data and cross-organizational response. You will execute assigned work and coordinate with employees in PMS392 to ensuring the timely performance of satisfactory work efforts. You will maintain awareness of organization activities and advise Supervisor and senior leadership on matters of concern, items deserving special attention, or issues which may create external inquiries. You will identify and prioritize actions requiring final decision-making authority of the senior leadership. You will liaise regularly with the Program's senior leadership and other employees on programmatic and administrative issues to ensure internal and external stakeholder guidance, direction, and assignments are effectively executed.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NH-02 (GS-11 equivalency) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Analyzing program requirements (e.g., cost, schedule, acquisition, test and evaluation, certification, in-service support, etc.) to develop innovative solutions to technical or programmatic issues for submarine maintenance or modernization efforts.
