You will serve as an INTEGRATED AIR & MISSILE DEFENSE ANALYST in the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Branch (J363), Space and IAMD Division (J36) of HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND.
Duties
You will provide strategic, operational, and technical analysis for the development of IAMD war fighting concepts and requirements.
You will assist the Branch Chief in the evaluation of air and missile defense capability, training, and readiness; and development of staff estimates and recommendations for senior leader decisions regarding Request for Forces processes.
You will prepare and submit input and recommendations to Crisis Action Planning, Operations Plans Group, OPLANS, CONPLANS, and other initiatives to address recurring and new IAMD requirements supporting USINDOPACOM.
You will serve as main POC for information and recommendations supporting NORTHCOM's mission of Homeland Defense using identified resources, sensors, etc., for ballistic missile defense of the United States and its Territories.
You will identify, coordinate and draft Senior Leader inputs and recommendations to the Global Force Management Process (GFMAP), Request for Forces (RFF).

- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-13) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing Air and Missile Defense Command and Control, Communication and Network systems; 2) Integrating information operations capabilities and concepts; 3) Managing tactical communications capabilities; 4) Determining requirements for resources needed to minimize disruption of operations; 5) Coordinating projects to analyze and disseminate communication/network policies or information.
