You will serve as a Continuous Process Improvement (CPI) Manager in the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA. This position is equivalent to the GS-13/14 level.
Duties
You will will serve as the senior practitioner of Lean, Theory of Constraints (TOC), and Six Sigma methods.
You will manage process improvement activities and directives including ensuring the workforce is trained; maintaining CPI curriculum, mentoring department Black/Green Belts, and executing, capturing and reporting process improvement activity.
You will execute process improvement events using the Lean Six Sigma and TOC methods and tools.
You will coordinate command project/event schedule and planning with leadership in support of the Strategic Plan and Department initiatives.
You will provide expert advisory services to NUWC Division, Keyport management on Lean, TOC, and Six Sigma application to production, programs, and business support services.
You will provide forward-looking approaches to the employment of all three disciplines, event prioritization, and return on investment calculations.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: evaluating process improvements utilizing Lean Six Sigma methods to ensure continuous process improvement.
