About the Position: This position is with the Office of the Chief Army Reserve, Senior Leader Development Office located at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Duties
Analyze military personnel data to maximize impact on organization’s mission.
Research Army-wide statistical data to provide reports and presentations to SLDO Branch Chief, Chief, Army Reserve and Army Reserve Proponent Advisors (ARPA).
Present briefings that analyze promotion and MIL ED selection trends in conjunction with assignment and evaluation history and other quantitative factors.
Process personnel actions including professional development, strength management, personnel readiness, records management, separations and other military HR management programs.
Coordinate authorizations, distributions, strengths, professional development, and assignments worldwide in view of Army needs.
Monitor impact of movement cycles to ensure qualitative and quantitative distribution of military personnel authorizations.
Respond to queries from external organization up to Department of Army level.
Provide statistical analysis in support of draft correspondence and reports.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:
1. Completing data analysis utilizing statistical data and analytical research for, i.e. Reserve Removal from Active Duty (REFRAD) board trends, promotion board analytics, distribution cycle efficiency / execution, professional military education board analytics, Reserve Component Command Board
2. Utilizing multiple HR systems, computer software packages and applications to run queries to streamline processes, establish benchmarking i.e. for distribution cycle slating, Soldiers potential and performance evaluations for current and future assignments. i.e. Personnel Electronic Management Systems (iPERMS), Soldier Management System (SMS), Access Database, Excel, Reserve Data Management System (RDMS), and Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A).
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
