Duties
Serves as a Senior Management and Program Analyst in support of the Acquisition Workforce Career Development Program responsible for development of plans, guidance, and direction to professionalize, manage, and sustain the DLA acquisition workforce
Develops and implements policy, programs, and procedures for the DLA Acquisition Workforce Career Development Program
Provides expert advice on DAWIA certification standards and current acquisition professionalization initiatives to acquisition workforce members
Responsible for development and implementation of new programs, training, reporting, and metrics for DLA Acquisition Workforce Development Program goals
Develops long-range goals and objectives to enhance career management programs in direct support of the acquisition community and in line with overall agency workforce planning initiatives
Conducts in-depth analysis of issues and statistical analysis related to the development of the acquisition workforce and individual workforce members.
Develops, implements, and maintains a communication plan to keep acquisition workforce members, functional community mangers, subject matter experts and senior leaders abreast of key developments... (cont)

Qualifications
To qualify for a Management and Program Analyst, your resume and supporting documentation must support:
A. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that equipped you with the particular competencies to successfully perform the duties of the position and is directly in or related to this position. To qualify at the GS-14 level, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level or equivalent under other pay systems in the Federal service, military, or private sector. Applicants must meet eligibility requirements including time-in-grade (General Schedule (GS) positions only), time-after-competitive appointment, minimum qualifications, and any other regulatory requirements by the cut-off/closing date of the announcement. Creditable specialized experience includes:
Advanced skills in statistical analysis and computers for analytical processing and data manipulation
Prepares correspondence and briefing materials, document research findings, reports findings, and makes recommendations
Develops, implements, monitors implementation and effectiveness of new or revised plans and policies, and substantial experience in acquisition programs, and advanced experience in conducting in-depth research and analysis.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
