You will serve as a Supervisory Financial Management Analyst in the Authorization and Controls Branch, Budget Formulation and Execution Division, Financial Management Directorate of Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC) Mid-Atlantic.
Duties
You will implement internal controls and guidance on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization’s programs.
You will formulate budget and estimates to support plans, programs and activities and presenting budget estimates to senior management.
You will develop plans, set priorities and schedule work to ensure effective and efficient use of labor and material resources to accomplish workload.

- This is a Financial Management Level III certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require occasional travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Formulating budgets and estimates to support plans, programs and activities and presenting budget estimates to senior management; 2) Implementing internal controls and guidance on effective and efficient methods for the acquisition and use of funds to support the organization's programs; 3) Developing plans, setting priorities and scheduling work to ensure effective and efficient use of labor and material resources to accomplish workload; and 4) Providing technical and administrative oversight, advice and instruction to employees.
