The primary purpose of the Visual Information Specialist to identify and understand business and end-users’ needs, creating intuitive digital experiences, leading design activities, collaborating with various teams, and driving research efforts to deliver public-facing digital products for the National Gallery.

Qualifications

Candidates must meet the Qualification Standards Handbook requirements for the GS-1084-13. A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is at least one year of experience, equivalent in responsibility to the GS-12 level in the Federal service, performing usability testing on digital products designed for optimal user experience. Rather, you must show in your resume how your past work experience demonstrates that you possess the KSAs identified below. Knowledge of public-facing media design and development. 2. Knowledge of IT principles, concepts, and functions. 3. Ability to manage all aspects of a program, including design, research, administration, and content creation.
