About the Position: The employee is expected to be fully present at the workplace with opportunites for partial telework if deemed to be proficient at the job. The job requires oversight of clinic group practice managers, providing guidance and consultation for optimal management of their clinic scheduling, access to care, and workload management.
Duties
Serve as Senior Clinical Workflow Analyst (CWA) for workflow assessment, evaluation, and optimization of clinical processes.
Work with the customer to diagnose a business problem and recommends an appropriate solution.
Coordinate and consult on multiple projects, studies, and systems analyses associated with health care programs.
Serve as primary advisor and consultant to Medical Treatment Facility key leaders and staff on Business Process Reengineering (BPR) program initiatives.
Analyze on-going initiatives to ensure duplication of recommended solutions for procurement is prevented.
Facilitate business planning meetings with the use of tools and/or techniques to assist in idea generation and problem solving.
Perform long-range work plannning.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Tier 1 security investigation or access for the duration of employment.
- This position requires the incumbent to have tuberculosis testing.
- This position has mandatory seasonal influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes performing workflow assessments, evaluation, and optimization of clinical processes; presenting briefings to high level management officials; and conducting system analysis. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
