About the Position: This position serves as a Management Analyst for Army Management Staff College (AMSC).
Moving expenses are NOT authorized, based on a determination that a move is not in the Government's interest.

Duties
As a Management Analyst, you will perform the following duties which is not an all-inclusive list:
Assists with the development of internal policies for civilian education and training.
Develops and maintains internal Human Resources' Standard Operating Procedures.
Maintains oversight of military and civilian performance evaluations.
Helps educate and advise military and civilian personnel on rating and counseling criteria to ensure consistency.
Helps analyze manpower surveys and studies to determine and evaluate military and civilian manpower requirements, authorizations, and utilization.
Provides manning recommendations to management pertaining to new positions and how the positions should be best established (i.e., military, civilian, or contractor).
Helps analyze previous manpower surveys, activity reports, budgets, performance analysis, use of overtime, special studies, position, and vacancy reviews and makes appropriate recommendations.
Reviews Table of Distribution and Allowance (TDA) to ensure consistency of organization/staffing structures with management requirements and recommends appropriate changes.
Maintains the AMSC personnel database.
Assists with Time and Attendance (ATAAPS) maintenance.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance throughout the duration of employment.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).
