This position is located in the Missions Systems Branch of the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). Serves as a key advisor on information systems security for the agency providing advice, guidance, and consultation to key managers, supervisors, and employees of a regular basis - as well as maintain constant awareness of security related issues in all aspects of assigned duties.
Duties
As a IT Specialist (INFOSEC) GS-2210-14, your typical work assignments may include:
Developing information systems using platforms, programming tools, software and/or other resources to meet user needs in the most effective way ensuring that security issues are properly addressed.
Provide maintenance support for information systems and responds to user requests for improvements and modifications.
Provide advice to management and other key officials on nature and scope of automation capabilities and potential use for the Agency.
Test software applications in the testing environment for system changes, patch releases, and upgrades.
Plan and coordinate the work of programmers assigned to projects with the responsibility of successful completion of assigned programs and systems.

The ideal candidate will have exceptional experience with both written and verbal communication, leading a team and/or projects within an organization, and working with contractors while exercising organizational skills. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To be qualified for this position, in addition to the Basic Requirements, applicants must have one year of specialized experience, equivalent to at least the GS-13 grade level in the federal service obtained in either the private or public sector typically gained in the IT field or through performing IT related tasks such as:
Experience utilizing Microsoft 365 applications, Azure platform, Dynamic, and power application software programs to develop and integrate new business solutions; and
Experience developing, operating, and maintaining cloud services and application security to identify and remediate vulnerabilities; and
Experience designing, developing, and programming new software tools to improve business processes; and
Experience with case management solutions, inquires, and disputes to provide remedy solutions.
