Duties
As a PROGRAM ANALYST at the GS-0343-12 some of your typical work assignments may include:
Coordinate through USTRANSCOM with Office of the Secretary of Defense, Joint Staff, unified commands, component commands, and governmental agencies to further initiatives, programs, policies, and plans which enhance Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC) support to the nation's war fighters.
Develop strategic document campaign plan that maps the interrelationships between strategic guidance, Joint Strategic Capabilities Plan (JSPS) documents, doctrine and other related guidance to facilitate reviews and updates consistent with command guidance.
Maintain a continuous liaison with Combatant Commands (COCOM) counterparts, Joint Staff, and DoD offices to ensure planning is consistent and integrated throughout the defense community.
Prepare and deliver presentations on JECC accomplishments, problems, requirements for support, and promotion of program objectives.
Facilitate and coordinate JECC organizational themes to inform JECC outreach products and programmatic narrative.

Qualifications
You may qualify at the GS-12 level, if you fulfill the following qualifications:
One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal service:
Reviewing, analyzing, and advising senior officials on national, DOD, Service, Component, and supported commanders' command and control concepts and programs.
Providing analysis and developing guidance on national strategy, policy formulation, and policy implementation.
Developing joint doctrine campaign plans to facilitate reviews and updates to joint doctrine publications for consistency with command guidance.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
Education
Substitution of education may not be used in lieu of specialized experience for this grade level.
