The primary purpose of this position is: To provide oversight and guidance for and serve as a senior Air Force Staff information technology On and technical advisor for Air Force Warfighter Integration Branch.
Duties
DUTY 1: Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Warfighter Integration program ensuring that expeditionary communications guidance, policy, and strategy complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs.
DUTY 2: Serves as technical expert at the Secretary of the Air Force/Air Staff level on Warfighter Integration and Communications Requirements.
DUTY 3: Represents Warfighter Integration Branch with a variety of installation and functional area organizations.
DUTY 4: Prepares and presents high level briefings of conclusions; many being highly subjective and not readily susceptible to verification until actual operational situations are encountered.

Qualifications
This is a GG-14 position in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). The GG-14 duties for the "Professional" work category are at the "Senior" work level and are equivalent to those at the GS-14 level. The selectee's salary will be set within the grade equivalent to a GS/GG grade based on the selectee's qualifications in relation to the job.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
For all positions individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below. The employing agency is responsible for identifying the specific level of proficiency required for each competency at each grade level based on the requirements of the position being filled.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include Mastery of a comprehensive range of cyberspace theories, interrelationships of multiple IT specialties, concepts, principles and practices, procedures, policies, standards, operations requirements to relate to user requirements. Knowledge of Federal, DoD and USAF laws, regulations, policies, and guidance concerning Expeditionary Communications and USAF program oversight. Knowledge of operational and performance characteristics of cyberspace to modify and implement procedures/policies/practices for USAF wide use; as well as knowledge of performance characteristics of cyberspace equipment, systems, services, and transmission media to evaluate new proposals, and approaches. The incumbent applies knowledge of Radio Frequency (RF) applies experimental theories and new developments to problems not susceptible to treatment by accepted methods, related concepts, functions, techniques and capabilities sufficient to understanding interrelationships of Joint and Air Force wide expeditionary communications. Knowledge of capabilities to the agency's RF architecture as well as new and emerging RF developments and applications for expeditionary communications. Skill in planning and adjusting work operations to meet program requirements and objectives within available resources. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT CONT:
Security: Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. Employee must pass initial and periodic short notice drug testing. Illegal drug use by employees in sensitive positions presents a clear threat to the mission of the Air Force, national security, and public safety.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
