Duties

Analyze the Prioritized Required Capabilities List and compare the results to the fielded and programmed force (present and future capabilities) to support command capability based planned processes. Facilitate the command studies program in support of the Campaign in Learning which includes Capabilities Based Assessments (CBA) in order to identify required capabilities. Integrate all data and information related to the management of capability portfolios to inform force development and strategic resourcing decisions. Exercise knowledge of Special Operations organizations and missions in order to support the command's capability based planning process.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance..
  • Drug screening position.
  • May be able to travel TDY up to 10% of the time.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11. Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify. For this job, you must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone -- no substitution of education for experience is permitted.
