You will serve as an Intelligence Specialist at the GG-13 grade level for the Research and Development Support Activity (RDSA) and liaison officer providing operational and technical intelligence expertise focused on maritime collection capabilities to solve high-interest information shortfalls.
Duties
You will analyze foreign maritime threats and the organization's capabilities.
You will assist in the development of concept of operations development, coordinate requirements feedback, and manage general information requests.
You will utilize knowledge of all-source intelligence to support highly technical analytical efforts related to the organization's needs.
You will plan, implement, and maintain synchronized data sets required to process all-source information and produce technical or operational intelligence assessments in assigned areas to support the organization's needs.
You will engage a variety of external partners in the development of future strategies and projects to satisfy critical intelligence gaps.
You will coordinate with subject matter experts to make analytical assessments necessary to support the organization's planning and development needs.
You will prepare executive briefs for senior leadership and technical studies, assessments, and evaluations for command planners.
You will manage projects that provide specialized analytic support.
Requirements
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- You must obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance and access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI). Failure to do so may result in the withdrawal of an offer or removal. Indicate the level and date of your clearance in your resume.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or pass the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You must acknowledge in writing that you are accepting an appointment in the DCIPS (excepted service) which does not confer competitive status, prior to appointment.
- Within the Department of Defense (DoD), the appointment of retired military members within 180 days immediately following retirement date to a civilian position is subject to the provisions of 5 United States Code 3326.

- PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance
- This position may require a Polygraph Examination.
- This position may require a 2-year DCIPS Trial Period.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS/GG-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing duties such as:
Providing operational and technical intelligence expertise focused on maritime collection capabilities in support of the organization's information shortfalls.
Utilizing knowledge of all-source intelligence to analyze foreign maritime threats in support of the organization's analytical efforts.
Planning, implementing, and maintaining synchronized data sets required to process all-source information and produce technical or operational intelligence assessments in support of the organization.
Engaging with a variety of external partners and subject matter experts in development of future strategies and projects to satisfy critical intelligence gaps.
