About the Position: This position located at Fort Moore, Georgia. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation: Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Duties

Performs access management, budget management, business planning, personnel management, resource management, facilities and logistics, compliance, training, customer service, information management and analytics support. Assists in the development and implementation of effective patient care systems. Performs healthcare administration and business practices to implement strategies. Utlizes data from established automated health system databases in order to monitor, trend and analyze, objectives and objective performance measures to include enrollments, patient satisfaction, quality measures, access, and productivity. Works with customer survey tools such as the Interactive Customer Evaluation, the Military Health System (MHS-TRICARE Outpatient Satisfaction Survey) and Satisfaction Survey. Manages the department’s staffing needs based on the established Joint Table of Distribution (JTD).

Requirements

• Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
• A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
• Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: utilizing various data base systems and electronic healthcare systems to analyze and track data; managing day to day operations in areas such as: access management, budget management, business planning, personnel management, resource management, facilities and logistics, compliance, training, customer service, information management and analytics support. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-07). OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree with a major study in hospital administration, public health administration, or related fields such as business or public administration with course work in health care administration. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
