About the Position: This position is located at the Martin Army Community Hospital located on Fort Moore, Georgia.
Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.
Duties
Performs special projects at the direction of the commander.
Oversees the development of estimates, statistics, suggestions and other information useful to strategic planning at all levels.
Develops project specifications; participates in negotiations; oversees project progress and completion; and assists in post-construction quality assurance inspection.
Analyzes practices, and recommends improvements in all areas of deficiency and implements, solutions with approval of the Commander.
Serves as executive officer for a Dental Activity.
Provides assistance and support for all operations and activities under the authority of the Commander.
Serves as principal advisor to the commander on program issues.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
- This position may require the incumbent to complete a one-year supervisory probationary period.
- This position has mandatory seasonal Influenza vaccination requirements and is subject to annual seasonal Influenza vaccinations unless otherwise exempted for medical or religious reasons (documentation of exemption must be provided upon hire).

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes providing general direction on personnel actions within a healthcare facility such as budget forecasting, validating automation systems, and personnel management; analyzing practices to recommend improvements and implement solutions; and delegating workflow among subordinate employees within a medical facility. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
