You will serve as a PHYSICAL SECURITY SPECIALIST in the NAVY RECRUITING DISTRICT/NAVY ACQUISITION GROUP of NAV RECRUITING DISTRICT RICHMOND.
Duties
You will assess security threats or vulnerabilities to recommend mitigating actions.
You will develop Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection and emergency management directives to implement established policies.
You will deliver security training to others for the understanding of and consistent use of security policies, procedures, and regulations.
You will inspect facilities to identify Physical Security deficiencies.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Executing a physical security program in accordance to policies and procedures; 2) Implementing training programs that prevent, deter, detect, or mitigate the effects of threats and attacks; 3) Analyzing information to identify potential security problems; 4) Offering policy recommendations based on oral/ written analyses, decisions, or conclusions of data. Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Successful completion of a Ph.D. or equivalent graduate degree
OR
Successful completion of three full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a doctoral degree
OR
Possession of an LL.M. that is related to this position being filled.
