About the Position: This position is located at the Maneuver Center of Excellence (MCOE), Fort Moore, Ga. The MCOE is located 100 miles south of Atlanta, Georgia, and is adjacent to Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City, Alabama. The geography and climate are ideal for year round military training.
Duties
Manage and process assignments in Intergrated Personnel and Pay System - Army.
Review and validate reports for timeliness, completeness and accuracy.
Coordinate Soldiers Readiness Processing (SRP).
Process Soldier Actions and conduct Military Personnel File (MPF) updates using IPPS-A and iPERMS.
Process Separation/Retirement orders and DD214s in TRANSPROC.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Overtime and shift work may be required on short notice to include nights, holidays, and weekends in support of related mission requirements.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which include: Updating military personnel records, processing Soldier actions and reassignment permanent change of station orders with system such as the Integrated Personnel and Pay System-Army (IPPS-A), Creating Installation Level In/out Processing schedules using the Installation Support Module (ISM), Generating separation and retirement DD214s and separation orders using Transition Processing (TRANSPROC), and Updating family members eligibility, issuing the Common Access Card (CAC) and USID ID Card in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS). This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-05.
