Incumbent serves as a management and program analyst for an organizalional entity of the Federal Aviation
Administration (FAA).
Duties
Provides a wide range of administrative and analytical duties in the conduct of projects and studies of substantive functions to improve the overall work operations of the organization assigned. Assignments cover one or more of the following functional areas: program planning, execution and control (i.e., program/system planning and evaluation, program performance measurement); management improvement and control (i.e., quality management, organizational planning and development, staffing utilization, productivity, work improvement and work methods, work measurement and staffing standards development, delegation of authority, goals and objectives, and records and information management); and business management.
Requirements
- US Citizenship is required.
- Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
- Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
- Security Requirement: Moderate Risk (5). This position requires completion and favorable adjudication of a background investigation prior to appointment, unless a waiver is obtained. Subject to a 5-year period reinvestigation.
- May be terminated, extended, or made permanent without further competition.
Qualifications
Specialized Experience: To qualify for this position, candidates must have at least one year (52 weeks) of specialized experience equivalent to the (FV-G or FG/GS-11) level that is typically in or related to the line of work of the position to be filled which has equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to successfully perform in this position.
