About the Position: This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Duties
Serve as expert analyst for projects/program areas in one or more administrative/business field for information technology resources, operations and policies to provide support for operations, systems acquisition, and lifecycle management activities.
Organization coordinator to promote inter-division and inter-activity cooperative efforts in the management, utilization and operation of enterprise information technology.
Formulates creative approaches to the application of computer technology and state of the art technology advances to system problems.
Serves as a Project Officer (APO) for multiple information technology project projects across the acquisition life cycle to include the design, development, fielding and sustainment.
Incumbent will fill a role in one of the following ERP disciplines: Systems Architect; Manufacturing Remanufacturing(MRM); Acquisition; Analytics.
Coordinates delivery of customer driven development and production releases that meet quality assurance standards.
Assists technical team in design and development tasks.
Assist test team in creating test plans and testing.
Manages and directs a multi-disciplinary team of highly skilled technical experts in execution of the project, IAW baseline cost, schedule, performance and risk, to achieve the goals of the project.
Must coordinate resources, establish the project governance structures, and lead change management activities and communications about projects.
Assists test team in creating test plans and testing.
Explores alternative methods of operation such as sharing exchanges, joint-use facilities, resource pools, network storage devices and central support services.
Serves as the activity's representative on DoD, DA and AMC Functional Coordinating Groups and Working Groups in all facets of computer technology.
Plans and designs enterprise systems utilizing hardware and software containing the most recent technological advancements which are combined to form a new and unique system to meet the computational needs of an ever expanding organizational mission.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- U.S. Citizenship is required. You will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship.
- Male applicants born after December 31, 1959 must complete a Pre-Employment Certification Statement for Selective Service Registration.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- Must file an annual financial statement. This position requires you to submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report (OGE450) upon entry, and annually thereafter.
- One-year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Life Cycle Logistics Foundational certification within 36 months as of entrance on duty.
- Off hours support is required may include nights, weekends, holidays or as needed for mission support.

Specialized experience: To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (DE-02). Specialized experience is defined as: (1) Manage projects or technical personnel in the sustainment of Systems Applications and Products (Examples include but not limited to: SAP/Material Management module); (2) Utilize an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (examples include but not limited to Logistics, financial, SAP, PeopleSoft); (3) Support ERP projects in the areas of logistics, financial/cost or integration points/capabilities, Systems Architect, Manufacturing Remanufacturing (MRM), Acquisition or Analytics; and (4) Review or communicate with others on project requirements.

My specialized experience includes, or was supplemented by, information technology related experience (paid or unpaid experience and/or completion of specific, intensive training, as appropriate) which demonstrates each of the four competencies, as defined:
