This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for AcqDemo Business and Technical Management Career Path (NH) to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
About the Position: Serves as the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Application Developer Architect.
Duties
Serves as the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Application Developer Architect, responsible for providing solution, business process and technical expertise in the design, development and implementation of the ERP solution.
Providing expert advice to senior leadership and guidance, strategic direction, functional and technical oversight and implementation instruction to junior ERP Application analysts and developers.
Meeting with primary stakeholders to coordinate the activities of the customer/user teams working on the analysis and provide technical expertise on hardware, software and architecture.
Preparing comprehensive documentation required according to the Organization’s methodologies for all work.
Debugging and repairing project and production issues found during unit testing and business operations.
Conducting studies involving the coordination of information requirements to determine hardware, software, peripheral equipment, and telecommunication needs and availability.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.
- This is an Army Acquisition, Logistics and Technology Workforce position. Selectee must meet position requirements for Engineering and Technical Management certification within 36 months as of entrance on duty.
- Position requires a Secret security clearance or the incumbent must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- This position requires temporary duty (TDY) travel up to 50% of the time.
- This position requires pre-employment financial disclosure and annually thereafter in accordance with DoD Directive 5500-7-R.
- Commensurate with mission requirements, the incumbent can be required to work irregular duty hours to include working nights, weekends and holidays.

Experience required: To qualify based on your work experience, your resume must describe at least one year of experience which prepared you to do the work in this job. To qualify you must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below based on the grade level required of the position being filled:

AND
Specialized experience: One year of specialized experience which includes:1) Providing solution, business process, and/or technical expertise in the design, development, or implementation of SAP Finance business area; 2) Conducting research and/or providing recommendations that support strategic initiatives to include the development of new or enhancement of existing solutions; and 3) Developing solutions for enhancements, upgrades, problem analysis/resolution, SAP configuration or performance tuning for complex system landscape. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service NH-03/GS-13).
