About the Position: This position monitors authorizations, distribution, strengths, professional development and assignment worldwide. It is located at Human Resources Command (HRC), Health Services Division (HSD), at Fort Knox, Kentucky.
Duties
Processes all personnel and administrative actions pertaining to AMEDD support programs and provides recommendations on compliance.
Provides information, data, interpretations, explanations, and/or analysis needed to fully respond to all inquiries.
Assists in clerical, statistical, and data entry tasks in support of AMEDD support programs utilizing a personal computer and HR systems.
Demonstrate courtesy, tact and good judgment to provide effective customer service and assistance to the managed population.
Composes replies to a variety of complex inquiries pertaining to personnel support for AMEDD officers serving in the Army or its Reserve Components.
Recommends work priorities to supervisor based on selective factors such as difficulty of task, available resources, and the capabilities and/or special qualifications of employees.

- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07).

Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree in Human Resources Management or LL.B. or J.D. if related.
