Duties

You will advise managers on the best practices for performance management, metrics development, or business process improvement. You will consolidate business or financial information to prepare a portfolio view of program data for manager review. You will analyze metrics and program data to recommend process improvements. You will document ways to improve an operating program's effectiveness.

Qualifications

Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing assistance to the Executive Director; 2) Administering, coordinating, monitoring and appraising the regional and installation command functions; 3) Making recommendations to the Commander on emergent issues; 4) Developing brief papers to support best business practices, policies and visions to the operations customers, communities, Commanders and other high-level groups; and 5) Coordinating with Regional Business Office, Installation and Region Program Director counterparts to benchmark and share resource and procedural ideas within Navy Region Hawaii. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Managing the Executive Director's schedule; 2) Overseeing travel arrangements and event coordination; 3) Providing technical support on business process improvements and metrics analysis; and 4) Providing briefings to command on best business practices.
