You will serve as a MANAGEMENT AND PROGRAM ANALYST in the Warfare Requirements and Resources Directorate (N8) of COMMANDER SUBMARINE FORCE PACIFIC.
A Cost-of-Living-Allowance (COLA) of 8.90% will be added to the stated salary.
Duties
You will assist with the development and continuous management of COMSUBPAC’s IUSS Type Commander requirements in support of the Undersea Enterprise governance structure in achieving the effective and efficient generation of combat power.
You will be responsible for programming, budgeting input into the OPNAV Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Execution System (PPBES) via COMPACFLT.
You will answer requests for information about IUSS within the COMSUBPAC staff as well as from Fleet,
Combatant Commander (COCOM), and subordinate and supporting commands.
You will provide advice, guidance, and information to senior and flag level personnel in the absence of
the N8 Director and Deputy.
You will coordinate efforts of personnel across the entire Undersea Enterprise during the process of Program Objective Memorandum (POM) development and issue refinement.
You will negotiate and resolve important planning and programming issues, to justify proposed solutions and programs to top management.

- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- You will be subject to a pre-employment and random polygraph test.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating program objective requirements to make recommendations for the planning, programming, budgeting and execution system (PPBES), or similar, to include associated IT systems such as Program Budget Information System (PBIS), to ensure operational readiness.
