As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Serves as the Assistant Shared Services Center (SSC) Manager providing direct supervision to major segments of the SSC function.

Duties

Reports directly to the Shared Services Center (SSC) Director and provides planning, management, and direction of SSC activities and programs relating to providing the full range of personnel action processing and maintaining Electronic Official Personnel Folders (eOPFs), Payroll Liaison Staff functions, and Personnel Records/files management activities.

Requirements

  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.
  • A one-year probationary period may be required.
  • A one-year supervisor/managerial probationary period may be required.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-J (FG/GS-14) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-I (FG/GS-13) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: experience interpreting and applying HR policies/procedures; leading or overseeing the work of lower-graded staff or teams providing the full range of personnel action processing; experience with HR related systems in data collection/analysis; experience in payroll functions; analyzing performance measures and metrics; and problem solving.Applicants should provide examples of specialized experience in their work history. Qualifications must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
