As a supervisor/manager, the selectee for this position will be eligible to receive a Manager Performance Incentive (MPI) provided eligibility requirements noted in agency policy are met. The MPI is an annual lump-sum incentive payment that considers agency performance, the manager's individual performance, and available funding.Incumbent will serve as a supervisor managing functional team(s) for the Shared Service Center (SSC).

Duties

Plans, coordinates and supervises the activities of the Personnel Transaction Processing Team and may include the Records Team and/or Payroll Liaison Staff Team. Provides technical direction and oversight for team(s) to ensure productivity, quality and timeliness. Ensures team(s) carry out tasks/processes in accordance with established standards. This position also is an eOPF mini-administrator in order to reactivate eOPF records, purge deleted documents and pull production reports from eOPF.

Requirements

  • Selective Service Registration is required for males born after 12/31/1959.
  • Must submit an SF50 (See Required Documents)
  • Successful completion of a security investigation may be required.
  • A one-year managerial probationary period may be required..

Qualifications

To qualify for this position at the FV-I (GS/FG 13) level, you must demonstrate in your application that you possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the FV-H (GS/FG 12) level. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE includes: Experience interpreting/applying HR laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures related to Federal and agency-specific human resource management functions; experience interpreting/applying policies related to personnel processing; experience providing consultative services to HR operational offices and LOB customers on a variety of staffing, personnel transactional processing and employee record related issues.Applicants should include examples of specialized experience in their Work History/Resume. Qualification requirements must be met by the closing date of this vacancy announcement.
