About the Position: This position serves as a Joint Fires Rehearsal Center Coordinator for the Joint Activities located at Fort Liberty, North Carolina.
Duties
Serve as the Joint Fires Rehearsal Center (JFRC) Coordinator.
Plan the activities of the JFRC to include the scheduling, coordination and de-confliction of all exercises, surveys, meetings, and conferences.
Interpret commander's guidance to establish realistic training exercises to meet overall training objectives.
Identify conference participants coordinating administrative and budget support for the conferences to include scheduling facilities, transportation, lodging, and temporary duty funding.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Top-Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position is subject to a pre-employment screening, and random testing thereafter, to include testing based on reasonable suspicion and testing due to direct involvement with an on-duty accident.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.
- This position requires a pre-employment physical.
- This position requires moderate to heavy lifting up to 50lbs.
- May be subjected to short notice recall. Must reside within 50-mile radius of duty location.
- May be required to work uncommon tour of duty hours, working either fixed or rotating shift which may include evenings, weekend and/or holidays outside of a normal Monday through Friday 8-hour schedule.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes conduct analysis of joint exercise doctrine, policies, and plans for impact on the assigned mission; collect combat data from a variety of automated and manual sources interpreting the results to drive decisions; monitor program operations and predict needs and outcomes of operational challenges; develop training facility policies, strategies, and measures of effectiveness for implementation; and formulate long and short range planning calendar for all facilities.
