Duties
Coordinate the operational budget of assigned Division.
Formulate annual and multi year operational budget estimates.
Provide independent financial guidance and expert technical staff support to management.
Advise management on all aspects of the interpretation and application of budgetary guidelines
Interpret and apply financial and resource management regulations
Independently prepares analysis to develop budget strategies.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- You must be able to obtain the FM Certificate Level 2.
- Temporary Duty is 15% of the time.
- You must complete an annual Financial Disclosure Statement.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes utilizing an automated financial management system, tracking budgetary information such as estimates and expenditures, preparation of annual budget, reporting budget information on related forms, schedules and reports. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service GS-11.
