You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Requirements Analysis Division, Capabilities Requirements Branch (M91), Operational Medicine and Capability Development (M9), Readiness and Health Directorate of BUREAU OF MEDICINE AND SURGERY.

Duties

You will coordinate staff action and tasking for assigned capability. You will accomplish mission analysis of new requirements in response to capability gaps and Naval and Joint Expeditionary Health Services Support (NEHSS) Enterprise priorities You will Identify operational requirements and taskings based on operational needs and reviews requirements mission analysis, course of action development and validation while serving as the primary point of contact throughout the process. You will assist in developing internal policies, processes, and procedures pertaining to Requirements process and execution. You will maintain continual oversight of all assigned capability requirements in order to recommend needed actions to NEHSS governance via M9. You will work as part of small teams to prepare Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS)- compliant requirement documents.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Experience coordinating staff actions and taskings for assigned capability requirements. Experience assisting in the Requirements mission by developing strategic goals, implementing objectives, informing subordinate staff of organizational goals and priorities as well as new/revised requirements based on mission. Experience developing internal policies, processes, and procedures pertaining to Requirements process and execution Experience providing technical advice to the organization concerning operational impact of the sourced and /or developing requirement Experience maintaining continual oversight of all assigned capability requirements in order to recommend needed actions to NEHSS governance via M9 Experience preparing Joint Capabilities Integration Development System (JCIDS) compliant requirements documents.
