This position is in the Office of Fossil Energy and Carbon Management - National Energy Technology Laboratory, Department of Energy. As a Business Management Specialist, you will be responsible for implementing/facilitating high-level initiatives and activities. This involves analysis of initiative; development of business plans, performance metrics; securing site support; establishing/monitoring budgets; and engagement/coordination with stakeholders from within/outside the government.

Qualifications
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level GS-13 in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as meeting ALL of the following:
Conduct high-level task planning and coordination to ensure progress is monitored from inception through completion; and communicate/coordinate across the organization and with external stakeholders.
Develop and implement tracking systems for business processes, and long- and short-range planning items.
Provide financial leadership to senior management on budgetary issues and manage the financial planning process.
Analyze business processes and practices and recommends process improvements and enhancements.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
