About the Position: This position is located in the Madigan Army Medical Center, Tacoma, Washington. Tacoma is a diverse city nestled between Seattle and the state capital of Olympia. Duties

Provide administrative support services to Soldiers undergoing processing through the Army Disability System. Assist members from time of receipt of notification of pending Medical Evaluation Board through the stages of processing until completion of the Clinical Evaluation Process and forwarding to the Physical Evaluation Board (PEBLO) Liaison Officer. Explain significance of completion of forms (intake form, physical form) to ensure all conditions are assessed accurately during the board process. Coordinate with the physician and physician assistant to ensure all abnormal conditions are assessed by consultation to the specialty clinic. Prepare and assemble required forms and records for medical boards and Temporary Disability Retired Lists (TDRL), Complete record after patient has met the medical board, typed additional entries/forms, and obtaining necessary signatures. Ensure all treatment requested by the physician has been scheduled and reschedules when necessary. Prepare various types of flow charts, procedure charts, and standards computation.

In addition to meeting the specialized experience above, to qualify for this position you must also meet the qualification requirement listed below: Proficiency Required: This position requires a qualified typist. A qualified typist can type 40 words per minute based on a 5-minute sample with three or fewer errors.
