About the Position: This position supports the mission of the Program integration Division. The Program Integration Division is part of the Special Staff, and the Chief of the Division reports directly to the DHA Deputy Director and it is located in Falls Church, Virginia. Salary negotiation may be available for those candidates who are new to Federal service.

Duties

Support the Chief, Program Integration Division in the development and implementation of congressional and legislative strategies to promote the strategic goals and objectives of the ASD(HA) and Director, DHA. Respond to written and verbal requests for information from Members of Congress, their staff members, as well as professional staff members from the defense oversight committees. Prepare evaluations of program status and compliance with legislative requirements, and organizes and summarizes data for senior DoD officials to prepare them for meetings with OSD(PandR) on Congressional issues, meetings and hearings with Congress. Assist in the management of the DHA/OASD(HA) process for responding to congressional requests by analyzing, evaluating, and assisting in interpreting the Congressional request.
